Project Details

Client: Morris Properties

Service Provided: New Build Clean

Contract Value: £12,000-£15,000

Completion Date: July 2023

Project Overview

This project involved carrying out the full builders and sparkle clean for the brand-new Midlands Air Ambulance Charity airbase and headquarters. The purpose-built facility replaces the charity’s former base and provides a modern, fully equipped space to support lifesaving operations across the region.

Located in a strategic position on the Shropshire–Staffordshire border, with excellent proximity to the wider West Midlands, the new building required a high-standard finish throughout to prepare it for handover.

Our Scope of Works

We delivered a comprehensive internal and external cleaning package following the completion of construction. This included:

  • Full builders clean across all internal areas
  • Internal sparkle clean to presentation standard
  • Wet and dry scrubbing of the large hangar floor
  • MEWP access cleaning, including external windows and brickwork
  • High-detail finishing to ensure every area met the required standard

Methods & Approach

To meet the project’s schedule, we worked overnight with a team of ten, allowing us to complete the clean efficiently while avoiding disruption to other trades completing final installations.

Our approach included:

  • Coordinating closely with contractors to maintain workflow
  • Using specialist equipment for large-area floor cleaning
  • Carrying out safe external access cleaning via MEWP
  • Delivering a two-stage clean (builders then sparkle) to achieve a high-quality finish

Project Outcome

The result was a fully cleaned, polished, and professionally presented facility ready for operational use. From the hangar floor to the office spaces and external elevations, every area was brought to a high standard suitable for a flagship emergency service site.

The project showcases our ability to handle large-scale, time-critical cleans while maintaining attention to detail—supporting key infrastructure for a vital regional charity.
