Project Overview

Codsall Community Hub is a modern, multi-use facility that brings together a wide range of services under one roof. It includes a café, library, nursery, GP surgery, and numerous voluntary and public sector organisations, creating a lively and accessible environment for the community. The building also provides office space for the council and 28 partner organisations, encouraging collaboration across public, private, and healthcare sectors.

We were engaged to deliver a thorough cleaning programme throughout the Hub, ensuring every area, from high-level surfaces to communal spaces, was maintained to the highest standard, supporting both day-to-day operations and the long-term upkeep of this important community facility.

Our Scope of Works

Our cleaning programme covered the full range of requirements for a busy, multi-use community building:

• Contract cleaning of all communal areas, corridors, offices, and high-traffic spaces
• High-level cleaning of beams, ledges, and other elevated surfaces
• Carpet cleaning throughout offices, meeting rooms, and communal spaces
• Pressure washing of outdoor areas and entrances to maintain cleanliness and curb appeal
• Floor cleaning of both hard and soft surfaces, including wet and dry scrubbing where required
• Solar Panel Cleaning requiring a MEWP for access
• Deep cleaning of toilets to maintain hygiene standards
• Cleaning of internal brickwork and structural features
• General thorough cleaning to ensure a polished and well-maintained environment throughout the Hub

This comprehensive approach ensured that every surface and structural element was addressed, leaving the building spotless and ready for the variety of public and private activities it hosts.

Methods & Approach

To minimise disruption to the building’s users, all cleaning activities were carefully scheduled around the Hub’s operational hours. Our team followed a structured workflow, systematically working from top to bottom and room to room to ensure no areas were missed.

High-level cleaning was carried out using MEWPs and safe access equipment, while carpet and floor cleaning utilised professional-grade machinery to remove dust, debris, and stains effectively. Pressure washing of external areas was performed under controlled conditions to maintain safety for visitors and staff.

Toilets, internal brickwork, and communal areas were deep cleaned with specialised products and methods, maintaining hygiene standards across high-touch points and busy spaces. Internal windows and solar panels were cleaned with appropriate equipment to achieve streak-free results, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics.

Throughout the project, our team maintained clear communication with the Hub management and followed strict health and safety protocols, ensuring all work was completed safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.

Project Outcome

The Codsall Community Hub was restored to a high standard of cleanliness, enhancing both the functionality and appearance of the building. Communal spaces, offices, and public areas were left spotless, high-level areas dust-free, and toilets and brickwork thoroughly deep cleaned.

The project reinforced the Hub as a welcoming, professional environment for residents, visitors, and staff alike. By providing a full-service, multi-disciplinary cleaning programme, the building’s hygiene, appearance, and operational readiness were maintained at a consistently high level.

The successful delivery also demonstrated our ability to manage large, complex facilities with multiple user groups, providing tailored cleaning solutions that support the long-term upkeep of modern, multi-purpose community buildings.
