Project Overview

This project involved completing the full builders clean of the entire ground floor at Hollinswood House following a major refurbishment. The building has now been developed into Shropshire’s first Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). The centre is fitted with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as a X-ray Department,  CT scanner, ultrasound suites, and cardio-respiratory & phlebotomy rooms.

Our Scope of Works

We delivered a thorough builders clean of all refurbished areas across all floors. This included:

• Full internal builders clean throughout
• Removal of paint flecks from sockets, edges, surfaces, and fixtures
• Wet and dry scrubbing of all floors
• Window cleaning across the entire area
• Detailed finishing and preparation ready for clinical setup

The project was completed over a two-week period, with our team working systematically alongside other finishing trades to meet programme requirements.

Our approach included:

• Coordinated scheduling to maintain smooth progress during the refurbishment handover
• Using specialist floor scrubbing equipment for both wet and dry cleaning stages
• Detail-focused cleaning to remove paint, dust, and construction residue
• Thorough window cleaning for a bright, presentation-ready finish

Project Outcome

By the end of the two-week programme, all floors were fully cleaned, refreshed, and ready for the final setup of the diagnostic equipment and clinical spaces. The result is a bright, modern, and high-standard healthcare environment supporting a major improvement to medical services in Shropshire.
