Project Overview
Originally built in the 1970s, Telford Fire Station has undergone a major refurbishment to modernise the facility and bring it up to current standards. The redevelopment ensures the station can meet the operational demands of a 21st-century fire and rescue service.
Following the completion of construction works, we were appointed by the main contractor, McPhillips, to carry out a comprehensive post-build cleaning package throughout the site.
Our Scope of Works
Our team delivered a full builders clean followed by a sparkle clean, covering both the interior and exterior elements of the refurbished station. Works included:
- Complete interior builders and sparkle clean across all refurbished areas
- Cleaning of internal and external windows, frames, and glazing
- Wet and dry floor scrubbing of the fire engine bay to restore the flooring to a clean, safe condition
- External pressure washing to remove construction debris and dirt from the building façade
Project Outcome
The refurbished Telford Fire Station was handed over in a clean, bright, and fully refreshed condition. Our works helped present the newly modernised facility at its best, supporting a smooth transition back into operational use.
The final result showcases the transformative impact of thorough builders and sparkle cleaning on refurbishment projects—especially in essential service buildings where cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail are paramount.
